Science literacy plays a key role in helping people of all ages make informed, thoughtful decisions about aspects of the natural world such as health, nutrition, and the environment. This workshop will provide time to explore free, classroom-ready HHMI BioInteractive resources including a tool for checking the reliability of resources, reading and analyzing the parts of a scientific paper, and critically evaluating the research presented. Participants will leave this workshop with lessons that can be adapted to their students. A version of this workshop was previously offered by BioInteractive in 2022.
