This workshop is being offered in collaboration between HHMI BioInteractive and the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It is intended for Texas teachers.
Join us for the "Adaptation, Natural Selection, and Speciation: Using HHMI BioInteractive Resources in Online or Hybrid Settings" Workshop for Texas educators. A description is below.
Students often have an incorrect or incomplete understanding of evolution. Join us as we investigate free, classroom-ready BioInteractive resources that will help your students understand and explain concepts central to evolution, including adaptation, natural selection, and speciation. Using best practices in online instruction, we will explore strategies to explain the process of natural selection, including an explanation framework to make student thinking visible. Finally, participants discuss how to adapt and modify resources for use with their learner populations.
If you have any questions about the registration process, the workshop, or require assistance filling out this form, please email biointeractive@hhmi.org.
