The COVID-19 Pandemic: Using Animations to Explore Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
Virtual
This workshop will be offered Monday, June 26, 6:00–7:30 PM EASTERN. Note that the workshop time is in US Eastern time zone. Please verify the corresponding time in your local area.
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our lives in unfathomable ways. Yet with every problem, there is opportunity for innovation and to advance our understanding of the natural world. Participants will explore free, classroom-ready BioInteractive resources designed to help students learn the science behind the headlines and see the real-world connections between understanding viral replication cycles and how biologists discover ways to detect and track viruses, treat infections, and prevent future epidemics. A version of this workshop was previously offered by BioInteractive in 2022.
