
Teshell Ponteen Greene
Teshell is a content developer who brings to the team her experiences as a cell and molecular biologist, educator, and professional development coach. Her work as a biology professor included transforming the classroom experience for students through equitable and inclusive learning practices.
Teshell has a BS in chemistry from Pace University and a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a teaching postdoctoral fellowship, via the Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award (IRACDA), at the Virginia Commonwealth University and an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship at the National Science Foundation. Teshell is deeply committed to helping others thrive in STEM, especially those who are traditionally excluded because of ethnicity, race, or gender. She develops informal education activities and programming to engage children with STEM.
