
Natalie Dutrow
Natalie manages BioInteractive’s professional learning initiatives for high school educators in the United States and Canada, including fostering the Ambassador Community's professional growth and building capacity for educator leadership and scholarly teaching through the BioInteractive Ambassador Academy. She also oversees strategy for our partnerships with school systems to connect educators with BioInteractive resources and instructional tools.
Natalie began her career in science and science education while earning a PhD at the University of Utah. There she studied the yeast transcriptome in the lab of an HHMI investigator. Over the last 20 years, she has taught biology and chemistry to high school and undergraduate students, designed and facilitated professional learning for educator audiences across the country, and supported the development and implementation of the Utah Science & Engineering standards. She is also a senior fellow with the Knowles Teaching Initiative and was most recently a Science Coach for the Salt Lake City School District.
