The human body uses three main sources of energy: glucose, glycogen, and fat. Fat contains more energy than the other sources, making it an excellent substance for storing energy in the long term. In this Click & Learn, students learn some of the ways the body processes fat, including digestion, transport, conversion, and energy extraction.
