This animation describes the four bases that make up DNA.
As shown in the animation, the bases adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T) are the four main components that make up DNA. These bases can form pairs and link together to create the double helix structure of DNA.
Depending on students’ background, it may be helpful to pause the animation at various points to discuss different features.
