Mark Eberhard
I have 37 years of experience working in the life science classroom at Saint Clair High School, a public high school in a suburban community outside Detroit, Michigan. I teach AP Biology, Environmental Science, and Anatomy & Physiology. What I enjoy most about teaching is facilitating the growth of students' interests, broadening their view of the world, helping build their confidence, encouraging risk taking, and most importantly, expanding what they see as future possibilities. What I love about BioInteractive resources is that they are based on the primary literature and feature active research that is taking place in today's world. BioInteractive resources are flexible and adaptable to multiple settings and provide opportunities for students to engage in the science practices. These resources expose my students to multiple pathways they can use to participate in the sciences both now and in the future. When I am not teaching I enjoy running, cooking, attending and participating in live theatre, and traveling.
