I have taught college prep biology and AP biology for 27 years at Thousand Oaks High School, a suburban high school about an hour northwest of Los Angeles. I love sharing my passion for biology with my students. An important way I can do that is by using BioInteractive resources to help them discover the stories of science. In addition to the excellent short films, I use Phenomenal Images to encourage students to ask questions about the world around them and Data Points to allow them to analyze real-world data. When I’m not teaching, you can find me walking at the beach or playing with my grandson.
