I have taught different science classes such as biology, health, biochemistry, and research since August 2012 at Tec de Monterrey, the largest private educational institution in Mexico. My favorite BioInteractive resources are the activities because they follow the scientific process while guiding the student to acquire specific content and abilities such as critical thinking. I also love being able to facilitate BioInteractive PD workshops because I learn a lot from all the wonderful teachers I get to meet. What I value about teaching is being able to create a safe and inclusive classroom for my students to bloom. When I’m not teaching, I am watching crime-solving series, reading mystery novels, or watching football.
