Chris Hedeen

I’ve spent the past 20 years as a high school biology and geology teacher at Oregon City High School in Oregon City, Oregon. Teaching science is my passion because it provides a process and lens for my students to investigate the world around them. I use BioInteractive resources in every class I teach because they make science accessible while supporting and encouraging my students to ask thoughtful questions. The teacher-developed BioInteractive resources challenge my students to approach their learning in new and highly relevant ways. When not teaching, I spend most of my time hiking, fly fishing, gardening, and learning with my family.
