Britt Czupryna

I have been teaching biology for nearly two decades and wouldn’t want it any other way. I currently teach at Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois. I love working with a diverse population of students and helping them to make sense of the world through exploration of real-world phenomena. My favorite thing about BioInteractive resources is that they provide me with a rich library of authentic, real-world–based resources that I can immediately put to use in my classroom that engage students in the use the scientific practices, and they are accessible to anyone anywhere. What I love most about teaching science is when students get excited about understanding how science can explain something in their life. I love it when I hear a student say “Oh, that makes sense!”  When I’m not teaching I enjoy being active, running, outdoor adventure activities, and camping with my family.
