Upper Canada College
Currently, I teach IB biology and physics at Upper Canada College, an independent high school in Toronto, where I’ve also taught math and the IB Theory of Knowledge course. I love teaching science because I get to help students appreciate the strangeness, beauty, and intricacy of the natural world, and help them develop the thinking skills to make sense of it. And I love using BioInteractive resources because they engage my students with striking phenomena to consider, real data to interpret, and thought-provoking activities that put them in the role of scientists. When I’m not teaching, I also work in the boarding program at my school, and I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog, and getting out for a run.
